Yay! Finally Yoshinoya is Halal. Very delicious. Bought dbl beef gyudon and curry cheese beef rice.. Their normal serving just nice for our lunch.. All self service.. From ordering to returning of tray. Will visit here again.

It's one of the famous gyudon restaurant in Singapore 😋😋 Tried the gyudon curry & fried prawn rice. Juicy beef slices with curry were a very nice combo. It's a cozy restaurant & relaxing ambience. It came with automated self ordering.

Tl:dr ordered the promotional item, double beef with cheese, but didn’t really like it. I refuse to use the wooden chopstick and had a conversation but got ignored Food Beef with cheese 🫳🏻cheese alot but seems quite raw 🫳🏻need to mixed with rice to make it more “cooked 👍🏻there’s 16 grain rice option 🫳🏻but 16 grain rice option extra 2 dollars, might as well just go don donki at level and buy a pack of 10 for about $6 👍🏻karage well fried, even for those standard package it is well fried, the choice has good proportion of fats and meat Service 🫳🏻i asked if there’s chop stick, the staff point me there 👎🏻 i asked if there’s non-disposable one, and got ignored, and focused on their own stuff. It was hard to eat without chopstick and mix without chopstick If you guys gonna was spoon anyway, get non-disposable ones, and save the environment please. 👎🏻machine cannot accept amex Atmosphere 👍🏻music is nice, old jap rock 👍🏻air con

We had not been to Yoshinoya for more than a year and were surprised to find that the entire menu had changed, including the removal of the soda fountain. You now have to order your food via kiosks, and bottled drinks are sold instead. Food-wise, I still prefer the previous offerings as the new ones don’t taste the same anymore. The meat was rather dry, and I disliked the fact that the rice was too plain for me. There was hardly any sauce with the beef. Additionally, I was appalled by the way the chicken was cooked—with batter? That’s not how the Japanese cook karaage, right? Rectangular blocks of chicken? I’m sorry. I’m not sure I will visit again unless they refresh the menu/dishes once more. It’s telling when you notice that Song Fa BKT next door is packed with a queue forming outside, while Yoshinoya has very few diners. I just wish Yoshinoya Singapore could be as good as Yoshinoya Japan.
