Price is steep, considering the locality of this outlet in the neighbourhood. Food is average. Air smells of oil and grease; likely they have poor ventilation. Attaching a picture of their promotion next to the kiosk. When collecting my food, I questioned on why I did not get the free drink. They said that the promotion was over. I asked why the poster was still there. They replied they gave feedback to management already. The baseline is that no matter how good your food is, false publicity/advertising is not the way to go. For those reading the review, consider other good dining places within the Khatib/Yishun locality.

Another halal Japanese food joint at Yoshinoya in Khatib area. Sad no ramen been able to be serve & ready. Had to go for gyudon majority choice. Feel good on the food serve with refreshing soup on the go. Will most look forward on their ramen 🍜 the next visit.

I recently visited the newly opened Yoshinoya at Khatib, which I was thrilled to see after their Wisteria Mall outlet closed down. Located conveniently near my home, the store features a simple yet pleasant layout, creating a welcoming and comfortable dining atmosphere. I ordered the Ontama Kimchi Gyudon, a flavorful bowl that combines tender slices of beef with the tangy spice of kimchi, all topped with a perfectly cooked onsen egg. The beef was juicy and well-seasoned, complementing the slightly spicy and fermented taste of the kimchi, which added a nice kick to the dish. The creamy onsen egg brought the dish together, adding richness and balancing the flavors beautifully. As a fast-food chain, Yoshinoya’s Japanese offerings are convenient, and the Ontama Kimchi Gyudon is a satisfying choice for a quick, hearty meal with authentic flavors. I’m glad to have Yoshinoya back nearby, as it’s now my go-to spot for comfort food with a Japanese twist.

Very pleased with the opening of this outlet! We were long time patrons of the Wisteria Yoshinoya and the kids have been missing their beef bowls. Glad to see some familiar faces from the Wisteria team! Our piping hot and appetizing rice bowls were served promptly despite the dinner crowd and the team was accommodating as always. We will definitely be back!

Didn’t have Yoshinoya for years due to bad experience. Decided to give this new outlet a try but it only reaffirmed that I should avoid it at all costs. At least my previous bad experience didn’t mess up my order. Takeaway beef bowl with onsen egg but reach home to discover missing onsen egg.
