Toa Payoh offers many food choices, and Chops and Sear is a one of the spot for modern Western cuisine. Their 🐟 fish and chips 🍟 are a favorite. We enjoyed Aglio Olio with Australian Beef Striploin Steak 🥩 , Buttered Rice with Grilled Chicken Chop, Buttered Rice with Golden Crispy Fish 🐟 , Cheesy Popcorn Chicken, Crispy Chicken Wings, Toasted Garlic Bread, and Mushroom Soup 🍄🟫 🥣. Generous portions for its price! 🫶

Varying prices from $6.50 - $15.50 Heard that this stall opened this new outlet in Toa Payoh Lorong 4 in January 2024, and decided to try. It has similar menu to their other stalls around SG, serving the beef patty brioche burger, salted egg chicken burger, grilled chicken chop, grilled lamb loin and various sides and pastas. They even have a $3 budget meal spaghetti aglio olio too and mushroom soup & truffle infused mash too. The Beef Patty Brioche Burger is really buttery, freshly grilled and goes well with their cheese & sauce. However, their fries are lackluster & dry and their sides are average but not super nice. I also tried their chicken wings but have tasted better at other western stalls like Tenderfresh. I would eat this again if I’m around the area but not go out of my way to try it again.

Newly opened in Toa Payoh. Tried their signature salted egg burger. Portion rather small for 10.50. Especially given the three piece fried chicken set is the same price. Service a bit slow, but willing to forgive that since they have just opened. When I ate there, there was no Google listing for the outlet! FOR MONTHS! Which kinda reflects on their company ethos. Taste wise? Decent. Can take it or leave it. Given that even Macdonald's offer a bigger chicken burger set for them bucks and WITH drink WITH aircon, nah. To be fair, they have a wide menu and I give a star more as I have not tried.

Food was excellent and quite fast too. It’s self-service but the staff are friendly and polite. As the stall is in a coffee shop under the HDB block, the atmosphere is a bit noisy and kind of crowded during dinner time.

I ordered the rice and chicken, and the chicken was delicious. It was seasoned and cooked well, even my friends were envious. The coleslaw and rice were good too but the star was definitely the fried chicken.
