It’s a coffee shop. What do you expect for atmosphere!!! 😅 This store took over from JWS which was one of my favorite so they have big shoes to fill. The food and portions are reasonably good. Did go back once or twice which says a lot. However, service is a little slow given that there are 2 guys working there. JWS typically had 4. Given that they also receive online orders be prepared to wait should you go during peak hours.

Feb/14, 6:45pm @ Chops & Sear, Bukit Batok. Ordered the Norwegian Salmon w Garlic Cream Sauce at 6:51pm, when in-front of me was 2 other persons queuing up. And, then after my order, another 4-5 customers ordered foods after me. These 6-7 Customers have taken their foods. Mine is still not getting any pager peeping. I approached the counter and I think, they have forgotten my order, but the 2 guys are none apologetic and instead told me the Salmon is very difficult to grill. Take me until 7:21pm, 30mins long to be served. The salmon grill was also charred. By then, I have lost my appetite.

This stall is located within a neighbourhood coffee shop and has taken the place of a previous stall that also sold Western Food. I tried the salted egg chicken brioche burger that came with coleslaw and fries. It cost $10.50. The burger bun was tasty and buttery but there was really insufficient salted egg sauce that I don’t taste any salted egg flavour at all. May be interested to try some of their other dishes but it is quite pricey compared to some other western food stall.

When it was opened for business in early 2024, I patronized the stall and gave it a go. Unfortunately the fried chicken that I had ordered was filled with a frozen smell. Probably they did not defrost properly. Many months later, I decided to go for another shot thinking perhaps they may have improved over the months. I ordered a medium steak and asked for it without sauce, To my dismay, my steak came with sauce on top of the beef. I highlighted my displeasure and continued to eat the steak. The steak was hard and looked well done steak to me. This is my last time.

I ordered delivery twice and it didn't fail me. The salmon has crispy skin. Very well done. Chicken chop very tender. Portion size good. Coleslaw very good! I will order again.
