As always, one of the best neighbourhood bakeries with a wide variety and affordable bread. Some must trys include their hand tear bun, walnut cheese, chicken floss bun, cherry custard danish, blueberry muffin cake, and brown sugar twist. Honestly I don’t think there’s any bread there that I hate.

I bought 2 buns for S$4.20, I prepared a $2 note +2 $1 coins and a twenty cents...after I handed the exact amount to the cashier, she turned back and showed me only $3.20 (one Dollar coin missing) in her hand. I told her there were 2 $1 coins, and she might have dropped one of the $1 coin. But she just refused to check and said I only gave her $3.20. I was totally disappointed and digged all my coins to make another $1....this time she couldn't even know how to tally the figure🤦‍♀️. My goodness, I could give you $5.20 if you say so, but please don't accuse me of short changing, totally disappointed by the whole incident, will consider to patronise Swee Heng at OTH if I see that cashier again😠

Tried their walnut cranberry cream cheese bread once and can’t help myself coming back for more!! Very soft and moist bread with adequate amount of cream cheese. The cranberries and walnut definitely add an extra layer of texture and aroma to the pastry. They have mini versions selling at 2.5 for a box of three (regular size for 1.5). I used to buy the mini ones as it feels more worth it but ended up coming back to the regular one because it has more cheese and the mini ones don’t have walnut and cranberry for the extra crunchiness and flavour. I found out they tend to be sold out later of the day so please come early if you want to try.

Review for Swee Heng @ Tampines Hub Bought 3 breads amounting to $5.50 and i gave the cashier $7, she took out a calculator to calculate the change to return me. I took my change, turned and only took 1 small step away from the cashier at which then i opened my hand to see the coins in my palm. And i realized i got back $1.40 instead of $1.50. Immediately, I told the cashier the change is short of 10cents, she went "huh" and started searching (for duno what) in a small black pouch on the cash register top. I am not sure if she was digging for a 10cent coin or the receipt, so i repeated to her my purchases was $5.50 and i gave you $7 so the change should be $1.50 instead of $1.40. It's ok if you don't have 10cent, i am just highlighting. Then the cashier replied i think your purchases is $5.60 right? I told her no its $5.50 and she argued back say no its $5.60. I didn't wanna argue over 10cent so i just say its ok and walked off. When i walked passed the bread shelves i look at the prices and indeed my items add up to $5.50. Just wanted to share with everyone, please check the change you get back before walking off from the cashier (even if it is just 1 tiny step) if not the cashier will say its your fault or tell you your items total amount is another amount. 😑 I should have known something wasn't right when she took out a calculator to calculate the change she needed to return me. 🤦🏻‍♀️

The breads are nicely baked and filling. So far, I find their cheese tart, spicy shrimp floss bun and egg floss bun awesome with sufficient filling. Recently days they gave out half a baguette for free. Kind gesture.
