Tried this for the first time. $2.20 for one puff, $12 for 6. Not the cheapest but then such pastries are never cheap are they? Well the puff is crispy (more than I expected) and the cream are rich and tasty. Tried both the Hokkaido cream and chocolate and both are good!

Love the cream Kazo Kazu at first bite... the puff is so crunchy and the cream is super tasty (not jelak). However i didn't have a good experience with their salted egg polo cos i only ate it the next day...maybe it lost its crunch somehow. But i would be back again to try other items 😄

Egg tarts are not nice warm. Either cold or fresh from the oven. The matcha flavour isn't very strong, esp after eating the chocolate, so if you ever want to try all 3 flavours, start with the matcha then the cream then the chocolate. Price wise, a little on the pricy side. Wanted to try the bun but it hasn't been baked and I would've needed to wait 20min. Good service. 4 stars because the taste was just ok for the price, nothing too exceptional.

I always have high standards for Kazo after my first visits to the one at Katong. The one I bought at Funan is disappointing. The ondeh ondeh is hard. Don't buy. The chocolate with alcohol is yummy. Can buy. The chocolate tart is tasty too though the nut has turned soft. Everything with chocolate seem to be quite safe. Overall, very disappointed.

Kazu Kazu: 5 stars Got this with matcha cream, not a strong matcha flavour. The pastry is the perfect crisp crunchy texture – but you gotta eat it fresh from the shop. Even 1 hour later it's already dropped to 3.5-star standard. Portuguese Egg Tart: 4 stars Pistachio Dacquoise: 3.5 stars Onde Onde Cake: 2 stars Even though I bought this first thing in the morning, the cake sponge on top and bottom layers was dried out. Do not recommend.
