The seatings of this outlet is a bit cramp, and someone as slim as me has a hard time going through the small spaces between the tables, let alone others. The sauce of the beef steak is overly sour and the rice is not as tasty as the other outlets. Good thing is the staff patiently giving her instruction and attending to our queries.

Another branch that refuses their customers to pay with credit card or NETS at the counter. They force their customers to pay online at their website (while standing in the queue and also exposing their customers to additional cyber security issue) or pay cash only at the counter. They NETS device at the counter is just for show. For whatever reason it can't be used. Many have provided the same complaints in their other branches but they provide only template replies including in this branch. I genuinely think that the only way they will address this issue and genuinely help their customers who prefer to pay with credit card or NETS at the counter is when customers write to their parent company in Japan! Anyway with the price point of at least $15 per person, one can get better service, better value at many other restaurants in the mall.

Visited this new pepper lunch spot at the new Pasir Ris Mall. The food was great and was of standard! The place had clean tables and plenty of space to move around. However, service at this outlet has to be improved. Staff were cold and unwelcoming. This lack of customer service hinders me from returning. Hope management will take note of this, reflect and relate customer feedback to staff.

the staff seated us (6pax) at 2 diff locations but when another larger table opened up, they refused to relocate us just cuz we ordered our food already. Then summore my table doesn't have QR code and the outlet only accepts cash at counter/card payment online cuz there's no reception here?? Staff was not friendly too and she rudely pushed in my chair without warning because she had no space to walk. food took more than 20 min to come and portion very small too. overall would not recommend and this outlet can be improved so much more

Went with a friend to this place for their opening promotion of one for one beef pepper rice. My friend, who was queueing, was told by a staff that add on set can also be considered in the one for one. So we happily looked through menu and then went to cashier to order but was told that any add ons are not considered for the promotion. So we stuck to the promotion. This food used to be a great eat long time ago. But now, at 10.90 SGD per set, the amount was so little that both of us were only fifty percent full. It was definitely not value for money without the one for one. Oh and they only has one Tabasco sauce in the restaurant. Staff cannot find another one and I have to go to another customer's table to get it. After eating we went to KFC to eat mashed potatos. Forgot to take photo of our food. I think the quantity is now one third of that when they first appeared in food court.
