Checked the new Pasir Ris mall and saw this sandwich kiosk at Basement 1. It caught my attention with its wide range of sandwiches that include savoury and sweets, and bagels. Had difficulty deciding and ended up buying the Soy Chicken with Egg and Cheese sandwich and the Fish Fillet with Egg Bagelwich. They came in half portion, chilled and nicely packed for ease of eating. Both sandwiches were tasty and packed with ingredients. They didn't sting on the filling, and it wasn't soggy but held its sandwich firmness. Don't expect the standard of a cafe or bakery that specialises in sandwiches, but definitely value for money.

Service was horrible! We had an AWFUL EXPERIENCE today. We stood infront of the pastry counter to order the Foccacia & call up the staffs several times but no one attented to us & when we went over to the counter to call the manage in charge(wearing black), she ignored us & busy with her stock count ..pity the aunty that was on shift as she has to struggle doing the waffles n trying her best to attend as, but that person in charge was SUPERB RUDE & NOT HELPFUL! ❌️

Swee Heng has made a lot of contributions in terms of its expansion of the bread or bakery business to explore the realm of gourmet sandwiches and the way they did it is so seamless. Using just words for the official store name and a whitewashed decoration gives this diversified bread business a class of its own. I got to try their sushi-inspired sandwich and a tuna mayonnaise sandwich and both were tasty and value-worth. The sushi sandwich has white bread used as the 'Japanese rice' worked out well with the savoury nori seaweed and the assorted ingredients in the sushi like tuna mayonnaise and cucumber. It was so good that 3 pieces seemed not enough to fill the growling stomach. As for the usual tuna mayonnaise sandwich, the bread used is a special-flavoured bread that is spread with tons of fillings including lettuce or cabbage and a sauce that sewn the whole sandwich perfectly.
