The stall helper was rude and insistent that their customer was in the wrong for whatever reason. The portion was pathetic looking for $4.50. Chilli sauce is weak and tasteless. Surprised this is a DFF outlet.

2023 update - roasted chicken still tender and juicy, chicken rice still tastes great. $4.50 for a small plate, perfect if you’re a small eater. If not probably gotta get a second helping. —— Really love the taste of their chicken rice, even though it’s expensive and the portions are small. Used to see long snaking queues before Covid, but not so anymore. Still good though, just more expensive.

It had been about 3 years since I visited this food centre. I decided to try the chicken rice. The rice had great flavour and the roasted chicken was also delicious. The chilli paired well with the chicken, and the soup was tasty too. Service was also polite and efficient. I would say that the chicken rice here falls into the top 5 chicken rice that I have tried island wide.

Iconic stall that stands out from other malay stall. 卖相好Very clean & neat layout so decided to try. Rating on food itself. 1. Chicken meat not bad. 2. Rice not moist but rather abit hard (not enough water) 3. Chilli sauce/Dark sauce/ginger sauce all watery. I think standard drops since first open. Gotta buck up.

The chicken was cold and small portion for $4.50. I don’t mind paying $4.50 if the portion are more. Service was also very slow and expect long waiting in lines. I had better chicken rice for sure.
