Very humble eatery. No frills and fuss. The Mala is not that spicy but the noodles is damn chewy and nice. Portion is quite good for small eaters. Will try other food next time and will be back for their noodles again.

Confession: I have never tried real Lanzhou beef noodles before in China. Thus, I have no idea how authentic this is. The soup tastes similar to Vietnamese beef pho but lighter. The chilli oil is really your standard mala chilli oil. Nothing to shout about but it does bring the soup flavour up a wee bit. Noodles were chewy and ok despite being machine made. Most noodles we eat are machine made anyway. Beef slices were thin and dry. I will settle with a pho anytime.

The taste is so goood. They made fresh noodle there. The chilly sauce is super delicious. The price is achievable. This is Halal food.

One of the best beef noodles I have ever tasted. An absolute must-try is their signature Lanzhou Beef Noodles. Savour their authentic handmade noodles with thinly sliced beef in their unique broth. Each slip of the broth will make you want to have more. Need to try it again for my next trip to Junction 9. Can't wait. Really glad to have found another hidden gem in heartland mall, Junction 9. =)

Just love the noodle soup. Always a must when something like this is in town.
