saw him serve someone a carrot cake and the portions look extremely small and miserable, must order extra large if you are an average eater. Faced abit of racism from him as well, we are Chinese and my dad tried to ask if he was Muslim which is why his stall is halal but he kept insisting that his skin colour wasnt muslim (meaning Malay) repeatedly even though we were being really nice about it. Would think that because hes a halal store he would be educated on this, made me question his legitimacy. Side note: I am not a Muslim either so my opinions are quite valid

Maybe avoid the black carrot cake. The white one sounds better from reviews. The black was drenched in sickeningly sweet sauce and unappetising. Plus the chef was kinda attitude problem (ignored my husband while his cooked dish was just sitting there, and half ignored him while he was ordering just because be didn't stare the size he wanted at the outset. Maybe my hubby was a bit upset at the long top up queue to start with too but.. mm not a nice experience.)

Really love their seafood fried rice and hokkien mee. Though the prawns still have their shells.

The food was tasty and prices were not too expensive. We had the seafood mee goreng and the white carrot cake, and enjoyed both dishes. We will be back to try the hokkien prawn noodles.

I rated 1star hoping to get attention of the owner of this stall. Just to be clear, I am happy to pay the price as advertised on your menu. I did NOT ask for any discount. I want to order white (aka no dark sweet sauce) fried kway teow without cockles. Your staff said: can do without cockles but cannot do without dark sweet sauce. Because white kway teow is not on the menu. He has to put at least some sauce to fry. The menu has black or white carrot cake. Btw, the menu does not have “kway teow without cockles”. But the staff is ok to do without cockles. So please can the owner (1) update the menu to include white fried kway teow or (2) inform your staff that it is fine to do without the dark sweet sauce? The dark sweet sauce makes the kway teow feels rich & heavier. Without the dark sauce, it would taste nicer and is healthier. Also cater to another group of customer.
