I wanted to buy fresh pasta to cook at home. I am currently going through a fresh pasta infatuation after 2 things happened in our lives. First, a friend taught us how to make fresh pasta at home and then gave us a high-end pasta machine. Second, a meal where we had a side-by-side comparson of regular supermarket dried pasta and gourmet fresh pasta... served only with extra virgin olive oil ... and in which all the fresh pasta was gobbled up and most of the normal dried pasta was left untouched. A Google search for fresh pasta, for taking home to cook in Singapore, led me to Pasta Go. On offer were gigli, mafalde and fettucine. I bought 2 servings of gigli and 2 servings of mafalde. Gigli is a short tube with a curly edge in 1 end. Mafalde ... think of Mee Pok that has curly edges. The staff meticulously packed each serving individually in a paper bag and box. See my pix. The price point is great. For $10.90, I got 4 servings in total. Cooking at home, I use a lot more meat and veges in my sauce and side dishes. Therefore in the end, I only used 2 out of the 4 pasta servings I bought, and landed up with enough for 4. This works out to only $2.75 per person for what I bought for cooking at home. The pasta was tasty and with a good bite after about 60+ seconds in salted boiling water. Initially I had been concerned that the pasta looked a smidgen too thick. But actually, the thickness and mouthfeel were just right when cooked al dente. I will be back! ... Unless... I suddenly have so much time and energy to make my own fresh pasta at home!

Pasta was cooked just right, had some chew to every bite! Sauce (looks small but actually enough) coated the pasta nicely too and the vegetables (broccoli and cauliflower) were crunchy and didn't taste bland, was seasoned with parmesean. Staff were quite friendly too, checked on my order when they saw me waiting for 3-4 minutes, appreciate it!

as someone who loves al dente pasta, i feel that pastago has one of the best pastas in singapore and super value for money too!! imo better than most cafes which charge $20+ for a plate. each strand of pasta is chewy and evenly coated with sauce 🤩 i eat pastago at least once a week!

Lovely freshly made pasta. Can really taste the good difference in the freshly made pasta. Definitely will eat/order from here again.

Chicken is towards the sweet side.. not a fan but I love the pasta and the sauce (aglio olio)🤗 Mac and cheese sauce tasted like nacho cheese + flour but not bad, maybe quite pricey tho😅 would buy the aglio again!
