Drop by there for dinner on a weekday with some friends after a meeting nearby as a random choice. Wasn’t having much expectations with random food places at the basement of a family mall, but I must say I was fairly surprised! Firstly, I really enjoyed the fried rice, and their chicken bulgogi! They were flavourful, bold, and pack a strong kick. Their other dishes were good too, but not wow. Secondly, they have some pretty nice Korean drinks to go with the food selection. Lastly, the service was great! They staff there were nice and helpful, and did their best since it is quite a small space! A great place to go for simple Korean meal after work or nearby and don’t wanna have to think of where to eat!

Simple yet eye-catching Christmas decors, attentive and nice staff, a special spread of banchan. I tried their Christmas set and some a la carte items. 🍗 cheese 2-In-1 Oakwood Smoke-Grilled Chicken 🍡Hongdae Toowoomba Tteokbokki 🦑Stuffed Oakwood Smoke-Grilled Squid 🐟Seafood Sundubu Jjigae 🧀Cheesy Gyeran Jjim Drinks 🍹 🍯Honey lemon 🍈Milkis Melon 🍓Milkis Strawberry Cranberry cheese with the smoke-grilled chicken is sweet with cranberries, while still keeping the strong cheesy flavour. Chicken can be easily dipped into it, with the warm chicken complementing the juicy refreshing cranberries, this dish is my favourite! Especially nice to eat when hot, sauce is hot and smooth, the Hongdae Toowoomba Tteokbokki is fragrant even on its own. Squid sauce in the grilled squid is extremely good, squid pieces are big, filled with yummy stuffing. They pair well with the seafood Jjigae. The Seafood Jjigae Broth has a prominent seafood taste, rich in a variety of ingredients, the tofu is delicate, it is a delight to drink it with soup while savouring its softness. The Cheesy Gyeran Jjim is generous in egg portion, eat it when steaming hot! The drink variety is good, all sounds sweet and fresh! I tried both flavours of Milkis, each are really intense in their flavour, sweet yet not overwhelming! Best to drink cold with lots and lots of ice! The special banchan that I am talking about is the Quail Egg Potato Jangjorim, in a sweet-salty sauce. Quail egg very irresistible! Free flow of juicy kimchi, radish and white rice!

Always queue.. be prepared to wait for good food. Everything is great.. Simply love their seafood fried rice and steak egg with cheese. The service is acceptable. Will come back again..

Horrible with my honest opinion. Banchan was really average Pancake - Only small bits of seafood and burnt Rice - Dry and slightly undercooked All proteins were frozen prep and low quality Cheese was watery The sauce for the noodles were burnt hence the bitterness and undercooked. Barley tea which has zero flavor of $2.90 (before GST) is not refillable. AND a staff was sleeping away at the corner tbl How did this place get into 4.4????? Its a joke!

Enjoyed a festive Christmas feast at Namu Bulgogi. The combo featuring Cranberry Cheese 2-in-1 Oakwood Smoke Grilled Chicken, Stuffed Oakwood Smoke Grilled Squid, Hongdae Toowoomba Tteokbokki, and Sundubu Jjigae was a perfect spread for sharing. Namu Bulgogi offers a delightful Korean BBQ experience with a focus on high-quality meats grilled over oakwood. The meats were flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also appreciated the complimentary kimchi, radish, and steamed rice. Recommend for a satisfying Korean BBQ meal.
