Burger with rice! A unique dish in Japan. Beef is of high quality, a steal given the price, ~920yen? Chef will prepare burger in front of customer and help cook both sides lightly, then leave it to the custyto continue cooking to one's fondness. Add another 400yen for free flow of soup, salad, rice and ice cream! No doubt it attracted so many customers. A nice place to go when you visit the Tokyo station.

Chanced upon this place when I was at Tokyo Station and glad I joined the queue.. just under an hour later, I finally made payment for my order and was shown to my seat. Part of the reason for the wait is that the staff have to meticulously clean the grill and surrounds after each seating. I initially thought of ordering just the hamburger but sucuumes and ordered the medium hamburger and steak combi. No regrets! The steak was of a good quality and really tasty! More importantly, you cook it to your preferred doneness and don't have to put up with too rare meat. I struggled to remember using the metal chopsticks to handle the raw meat and the bamboo chop sticks to eat. The rice, soup and soft serve is refillable and I could not resist having 2 soft serves. This restaurant also has halal certification so Muslims can eat here as well. I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it. Just try to come before noon if you wish to beat the queue.

This restaurant is so unique, that you will cook your steak or hamburg (or both) to the doneness you want. I would recommend Hamburg and Steak set with rice. For small size, total is going to be around ¥3000 or about $20. Small size was enough for me because rice are refillable, but fyi large is super huge Steak are very marvelous and hamburg was very flavorful. They said that to cook the hamburg all the way through, but I cook it to more like inside turns pink. Steak I highly recommend to try eat without any sauce and just with salt. Just try it you won’t regret! Only reason why service are 4 star is because compared to Japanese standard, particularly male staffs are lack in customer interactions (still 5 star in American standard) Overwell it is well worth it, but be prepared to walk around the station for a while and be in the line for 30 minutes to an hour

Perfect meal to start our japan trip every time. It has become our favourite go to food. The queue is long even before it was open. You get to grill the Meat to your liking. We tried the patties only. The Onion sauce was amazing with the Meat. When you cooked the Meat to different degrees it tasted differently. Definitely worth queueing up for. The only trouble would be the smell of the cooking 😅

Interesting concept... I wasn't prepared to be cooking the hamburger steak myself, but it's fine.. Only thing is it's very oily and some of the oil will get you when you cook.. So be prepared.. The taste is pretty good especially the onion sauce.. Everything else was sold out when I went, so not sure how their regular steak is..
