Ritz Bitz

Seen this brand in multiple places and always wanted to try. I had the satay chicken dish today. For a first-time try for this brand.. thjs dish isn't five star. The taste is decent but not fantastic. The rice is very average and very dry plain white rice. However the egg is done superbly well and that is why I still give a fivd star. I will probably try again in a different coffee shop and definitely not satay chicken again.

Really nice rice bowl with creamy scrambled eggs with different choice of protein. The roast chicken leg quarter, teriyaki chicken breast are both nice. The surprise was the beef rendang was super yummy, super tender and melt in your mouth. A must try!

This stall was situated in the newly opened coffee shop by Miss Tam Chiak. This stall is halal and it serves pretty interesting dishes. They are mainly rice bowls, with differently “flavoured” grilled chicken/ beef rendang on top of a generous serving of scrambled eggs. So far I had tried chicken panggang , satay chicken and rendang beef. In fact all are very tasty but my personal favourite is the chicken panggang. The chicken is tender and the scrambled eggs are really silky. However, it would have been nice to include some veggies or salad as they aren’t any inside. For me, the beef rendang became quite jialat towards the end and a little veggie or salad might just do the trick (just an idea) 😅 Service wise is just so-so. The first time I was there, I was left to stand there to wait quite a bit while they chit chatted with each other until they are ready to take my order. The other time I was there on a late afternoon, it was already very warm and certain tables had a lot of glare from the hot sun, while the inner tables, supposedly the cooler ones were occupied by the stall assistants chit chatting among themselves as they have their break as peak hours are over. Overall dining experience is just so-so.

Halal version of Dan Lao. Ayam berempah is a must try with its flavourful spiced chicken, soft egg and fluffy rice. Though I wished for its price they could add just abit of vege.

Look at the Ayam Berempah, looks like fried and refried, so burnt, so different from the picture or other posting. Alas, so salty! And worse had gastric reflux n tummy upset till the next morning! Disappointed 😤
