First time eating this brand and it’s really popular apparently at woodleigh hawker, seems like always a queue. I love how they cook the batter well as other places can be a tad lumpy or doughy or even have some alkaline taste. They did it well and incorporation of new flavours were a success as it’s not just a paste in between, they bothered thinking about the texture as well. So the hazelnut had some crunchiness which was interesting.

This is the eighth Munchi stall that I am reviewing. The Munchi stall here is very popular because the pancake here is chewy and full of fillings. The service provided by the order taker (Clarence) is fantastic. You can ask for corner crispy pieces, and he will oblige you. He is very polite and respectful even when you buy one piece from him at $1.60. This is by far the best Munchi outlet for the pancake and service.

First time trying Munchi Pancake, chances upon it at Woodleigh Hawker Centre and was served by Ben and Aim. They were very friendly and fast to prepare my Min Jiang Kueh & Munchi Pancake. Tried the Original Hazelnut MJK & the Biscoff Munchi Pancake and it was superb. Very chewy and pillowy pancake with a crunchy, sweet filling with good texture contrast. Also they prepared the pancake within just a few mins. Excellent and will come back again to try the Belgian Chocolate MJK next time ☺️

Quick service and didn’t wait long for the food despite being there on a weekend and lunch hours IF you choose from the ready flavours displayed. Part-timers need more training, to be more courteous especially towards elders. MJK great taste otherwise!

It’s been a while back since I bought my first munchi. This has to be my go to fuss free food option! I love the coconut flavour! Great that it open near my new home :)
