First time trying out soup from here and i was a little overwhelmed by the options available in the menu. I decided on batang fish value as I was hungry. Only realised it was purely soup without any carbs after I reach home so do take note to add rice if you need carbs. Quite disappointed by this store as I did not know the fish soup is the milky type. Usually in hawker stores they will ask if you want milk in your soup but not here. Not sure if you can request for non milk version too. Batang fish is the thinly sliced type. Soup was also filled with mostly cabbages and tau kwa. Also hated that the ginger was in bite size. Accidentally chewed on a few of it and hated the sudden burst of ginger flavour in my mouth. Although the container they used is big, one third of the container is actually empty. My favourite part of this meal is the chilli. The tangy chilli goes really well with the fish so I do recommend you to try the chilli. I feel the additional $2 is not so worth it for the added ingredients. Might be better to opt for the standard size one and add rice for a more filling meal. Think I'm too spoiled by our local hawkers version of fish soup. If you're a fan of milky soup and thinly sliced fish, this place is for you! Yet to try out other soup but I think I'll be avoiding this place for now.

Good counter service, friendly and helpful.....price...a little on the high-side but at least it tastes good. See that most customers order and take away.....good that they have a few tables for dining-in.....maybe consider having more tables and possibly attract more customers.....🤔

I enjoy soups. Thanks to the owner of Hugabo, I get to enjoy their soups when I am too lazy to cook. I tried their non-spicy soups and love their signature seafood soup and tioman fish soup. Ingredients in the soup are fresh. Hugabo is highly recommended to soup lovers.

Rating is solely base on the mala beef noodles in my photo. Mala soup is nice, with a slight kick. Ingredients and portions are quite generous however at $10, this seems a bad value for $ nonetheless. Beef ball is juicy inside and taste good, beef slices also fresh. If the price is around $6.5-7, i would have give it a 5 stars.

📍Newly Hugabo @ Sembawang Sun Plaza, near to main entrance facing MRT station. Nice clean looking open kitchen concept thats together with Stuff'd (yea, Stuff'd moved up to level 1). ✅️ This is Halal certified. 1st try for me.. Ordered the 🔥Mala seafood soup via grab for self pick up option.. No choice of spicy level.. fixed ingredients, however u can chose to add on ingredients. 😍 Mala Soup was so good! The broth was rich and flavourful, not overly spicy and NOT oily. Extra chilli 🌶 given seperately.. so you can add in if you prefer a spicer level. Seafood are all fresh!! Prawn deshelled.👍 I added on fried egg floss.. 🙂 Counter staff pleasant and polite.👍 Maybe the boss can consider: more spring onions pls..😬 🪑Limited dine in seats available at the side. 😔 Unable to take more pics due to dinner time crowd. 😋 Overall a good satisfying bowl of mala soup for me on a cold day. Recommended! 👍
