Introduced to this by a colleague and find the taste quite decent. Orders are made from the kiosks. You select items you want and pay the final price via cards. The place is jointly occupied by Stuffd, Wokhey and Ordinary Burger. If you are buying a single pax portion of dry mala, it will go up to almost $10 for just a couple of items. More worth it for 2 to share by adding more items. We paid about $14 for 2. Went there on a second occasion as craving for it and wanted to introduce it to my other colleagues. Paid $16 for 3 pax. Everything was "squeezed" into the same bowl. Could have order/eaten more but I could not judge how much was sufficient =). The lady staff (should be a Vietnamese) was very friendly and helpful when we asked for extra bowls for sharing the food. There is only 1 mid level spicyness available. Quite spicy but still bearable, for me. There are many other items like fish soup, mala soup, tomato soup etc. Each item costs at least $7.80. If you go during peak lunch hours, need to wait awhile for seats. The return tray area was in a mess as rubbish bins were filled to the brim and the "rotating plate" of one of the bins is a bad design as we need to throw item one by one due to the small opening and dirty our hands. The place is not conducive during peak hours and maybe I should just takeaway in future. NUH area is known for more expensive prices for food. This is probably due to higher operating costs. Will be happy to see Hugabo at other areas in the Northwest, Buona Vista at maybe lower prices🙏🙏.

Got tomato chicken soup ($7.50) + la mian ($1.20) + napa cabbage ($0.60). Was quite focused on the convo so didn’t realise my napa cabbage was completely missing… :/ by that alone it’s a 1/5 star. Nothing amazing about the soup, chicken slices were quite sad as well. La mian portion was generous, but I’m here for the non-carby stuff tbh. Order from the other three adjacent stalls (Stuff’d, Wok Hey, Ordinary Burger) instead, pretty sure that’ll be more worth and satisfying.

The worst service I have encountered in Singapore. At around 1pm on 18 May 2023, the TV screen displayed my order number and I went to collect my food, there is only one tray ready on the counter, and naturally I thought it’s mine. The cashier asked for my order number and nodded with a sulking face before I could collect the food. After about 1 minute, she came to my table so angrily and said this was another order number and just took the tray away. I had to go back to the counter and she started blaming me for taking the wrong tray. The other customer didn’t even say anything. Firstly, stop blaming the customers due to your incompetency of verifying the order number. Secondly, take your that kind of attitude elsewhere and don’t work in service line. Lastly, I won’t patronise again no matter how good the soup is.

My husband ordered mala, it tasted good and spicy. less numbing. Rather pricey.

This place is not worth it at all. What I got was no match to what I paid for. $12 just for few pathetic scraps of beef, which some of them was too hard to chew. Skip this place unless u wanna pay $10+ for some veggie soup.
