The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and rustic decor that made it perfect for a cozy lunch or dinner. A very decent briyani place situated in the heart of JooChiat . Food selection and menu was good too , be it a small or a larger group . The drinks menu could be improved. Overall my experience was fantastic.

Honestly went here on a whim and the food was great. We got the Chicken dum biriyani, mushroom masala and fried cauliflower and was really happy. My only question is how do I get my membership to join the club 😋

Went there with a group of friends as one of them, an Indian, had heard good reports about it . When I arrived and checked the address, I realised it was the former Walakku where I had eaten good Nasi lemak. The owners had rebranded the outlet in November 2024. We ordered mixed platter, lamb shank beryani, beryani rice, one portion to be shared by two, cold water, lemongrass drink and chai. The chai is basically from tea powder - not recommended. The cold water is charged by bottle and not refillable. Whilst the meats were tender, we all agreed the food didn't have strong distinct flavours and was underwhelming.

Food was amazing - a different kind of briyani we have never tasted before but enjoyed. We ordered the platter, naan, butter chicken, appom and tea too which was really yummy. Albeit the small space, it was very cozy for my big family.
