Passed by this Malay stall because the hawker centre is under renovation. Waited about 15 mins with 4 people in front of me. Ordered the nasi padang set, overall taste really authentic and serving is good for 2 small eaters

Introduced by the OG foodie in the family, my mum, I got to know about this stall. Both their Lontong and Nasi Rawon are really enjoyable. The sayur lodeh (spicy coconut-based gravy) of the former is aromatic and full of vegetables, plus it’s not too thick which can be “jelak”. It pairs really well with the compressed rice cakes. I consider their Nasi Rawon one of the best around. Besides being large in portion, the all-important beef and “buah keluak” gravy splashed over the rice is fragrant and generous with pieces of beautifully tender meat. So is the paru (beef lungs) which surprises me greatly because rarely if ever, does this organ come in such a cushiony-soft state. Equally eager to yield to the bite is thinly-sliced cuttlefish cooked in slightly sweet sambal. While chopped long beans provide some fresh crunch, the begedil (spiced mashed potato patty) scores above average in size and tastiness. Automatically included with the Nasi Rawon is a sambal belachan which is of sweat-will-break-out standard. If you love Malay food like I do, this stall is a must-visit.

The nasi rawon was really authentic and delicious! The queue is pretty long during peak periods so be prepared to wait!

Tried the nasi padang from this stall in a coffeeshop from Bedok North street 3 blk 539. Heard about this stall and have always wanted to give it a try. Went there to there to takeaway for lunch last Sunday. I was there around 1.30pm and there was already a long queue. There was at least 10 people Infront of me and I waited for almost 20mins before It was my turn to order. There was limited dishes by the time it was my turn to order. Selected a total of 4 dishes, stir fry cabbage, dadar telur, sambal fishcake with hotdog as well as the beef rendang and it cost me SGD$5.80 if I didn’t remember wrongly. For the portion and number of dishes, I think it was really very value for money. It would have easily cost more elsewhere. Food was hearty and delicious. I would recommend to go earlier as the popular dishes were snapped up pretty fast!

I queued for around 20 minutes for food. The service speed could be improved, ie a better and faster system. There's quite a few varieties but food actually only taste slightly above average. Price is quite friendly and portion is quite big. Not worth queueing again IMO.
