The zi char is halal and sell quite a big variety of food. However, whether does the food actually taste nice is completely dependent of luck. Some of the better one would be sambal petai fried rice, fried mantou with condense milk. The worser would be their cereal series with fried rice. It one of the few times where i actually choose not to finish the food as i usually choose not to waste food. Their beeper seems to be quite lousy. I always see their servers running around the food court to manually search for the customer.

Went to Joo Chiat outlet one...curry fish head was great....really curry type...not so coconuty milk based..more of spices and alot of vegetables..some places doesn't put a lot of vege...but here, have a lot of vege. Worth it I guess. Mantou was also the best...soft and fluffy inside..crispy outside. It was sooooooo nice eating mantou with curry..

This restaurant is unacceptable. I am so disappointed with their standards today as i have been ordering from Tasty Wok their ( Dried Chilli Chicken Fried Rice ) via Grabfood frequently, however today, i added extra $1 fried rice but the serving was so so much lesser than usual, their chicken was extremely little than usual as if they are running out of chicken. Food is alright but standards are not consistent. Sadly today will be the last time my friends and i will ever buy from this restaurant. Please upkeep to your standards of serving portion to delivery orders, it is not fair you serve us with a single portion when we paid extra money for your food. Very Poor standards, DONT BUY FROM THIS STORE!!!!

Halal Tze char stall. The Sambal fried rice ($5.50) had 3 slices of sotong and 2 small de-shelled prawns. The same for the black bean hor fun beef ($6.50) also had the 3 slices of sotong and prawns. The beef was no where to be found. The meal was served with egg drop seaweed soup for both dishes. At least we left not feeling hungry....would we come back again to this stall....we still have not decided......maybe....🤔..........
