We wanted to try as walked past before. No nasi goreng sate ayam so went for the chicken rendang set. The spiciness and taste was nice but the chicken, bergedil and brinjal were all rather hard. Missus went for ayam penyat and was told it would take 10 minutes to fry. But not called for over 20 minutes as lady running the stall had forgotten her order and hers was the only one at the time! Must say though that the chicken was crispy and freshly fried and the tofu was also nice. Chilli packed a kick too. Teh O ice was okay but at $2.20 rather ex. Actually for the prices, food portions were just so so. Service was okay without any smile, which is so different from eating in Indonesia.

For me personally it’s just average. Not too bad and not too good also. Taste is still acceptable though. But es teler is too much coconut milk and make it taste far from the original es teler. For pempek is consider expensive because only 4 small pieces. Bakso soup is quite salty.

Ordered the gado-gado, definitely different taste than the actual thing, but came pretty close. The tape goreng, give it a miss, definitely ain't worth the calories.

Ordered Pecel Lele takeaway and didn’t receive the sambal pecel, aka what makes pecel lele PECEL lele. No keropok either.
