Affordable nasi lemak, mildly coconut fragrant rice, unfortunately we found some uncooked rice in it, nice sambal sauce, added some kicks to it as well as harmonizing all tastes.

Sep 2023: one of the best Nasi lemaks I have tasted. The chilli is fabulous! The chilli has little ikan bilis in it. The otah is good and the ngoh Hiang Fragrant and delicious.

Most people associate great sambal 🌶 with great Nasi Lemak. The sambal at Super Shiok contains ikan bilis and is spicy, but not with the usual sweet after tastes normally associated with nasi lemak sambal in Singapore. While most reviewers rate highly on Super Shiok’s sambal 🌶, I’m not such a fan as my preference is the one which leaves a sweet taste. However, the newly fried chicken wing was absolutely crispy. It’s good Nasi Lemak but not so super shiok, the stall accepts QR Pay but quite difficult to find as it is the last stall on the furthest end from the entrance.

Super Shiok Nasi Lemak 📍29 Bendemeer Road, Bendemeer Food Centre #01-13 Relatively new store which attracts long queue during my weekend visit. They have affordable Nasi Lemak set starting from $2.80. Basmati rice was fluffy and fragrant and the fried items were freshly fried due to the high turnover. Fried chicken wing was well marinated and served piping hot. The star for me would be their sambal chilli which contained ikan bilis and onions. It was fiery, flavourful and spicy! Glad to have joined the queue to try! Can eat.

Yummy tasting nasi lemak. Chicken wings are hot and juicy, and reminds me of homely nasi lemak sold in army camps' canteens. Basmati rice is a nice touch. Chilli good. Add vegetables for additional fibre. Will come back again.
