Managed to get a reservation on a Friday afternoon, wasn’t crowded and we got seated immediately. Staff were very friendly and pleasant, helped us move tables. Food was great! Flavours were all on point. Was not a fan of their fruit drinks, tasted a little too artificial so I would skip out on them and opt for the coffee next time. Also got their gelato, for $5 not much I can complain about. The flavour was great but the texture was odd. Creamy in some spots but icy in others. Would definitely visit again though, their food and service were thoroughly amazing

Was here in July with my wife for an early dinner. It was a last minute decision to have a meal here, and it was best decision I made! Firstly, service was excellent. Staff was friendly and accommodating, they managed to explain the menu and how to decide what to order. It was a hot and humid day, and they managed to serve us our drinks fairly quickly. The menu is extensive and very very friendly for all dietary needs. We had a sample of all the stuff that was there. The poached eggs was really amazing, the fried feta cheese was really really good and salty, exploding with flavour. My wife truly loved rosti, until she ended up ordering another one to satisfy her cravings. It melds really well with the sausage and the tomato soup. Another one of our favorites is the smoked salmon which really works with the sourness of the sauce. Packs a real punch! All in all, we truly loved the atmosphere of the location, dining in the jungle feel, lovely food, well priced. 10/10 will recommend and will definitely come back here again for a solid lunch / early dinner again!

Small Batch is a family-friendly brunch spot at Singapore’s Botanic Gardens, focusing on customizable meals where you can “Build Your Own Board” with items like poached eggs, mushrooms, fruit, and dairy. This setup allows for mix-and-match options that are ideal for both adults and kids. The poached eggs are silky and perfectly runny, complementing the garlicky mushrooms that add a savory touch. The fruit plate is delightfully arranged and colorful, making it appealing for kids. However, the yogurt bowl for kids, though simple, is satisfactory. The drinks are refreshing, especially the fruit-based options that are well-suited for a hot day at the gardens. This cafe’s natural setting and tailored boards make it a relaxed spot to enjoy a meal surrounded by greenery.

Went to Small Batch for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Looove the atmosphere of the place and the staff were all generally welcoming. We got the build your own board and 2 coffee. I think the concept of being able to “build” your own dish is interesting! I love all the options and like how it’s all in small servings so you can try out different dishes. The fried feta is good please try that if you love cheese!! That was a standout for me but overall the other dishes are really nice too!

Went yesterday for brunch. Beautiful and somewhat secluded spot. Loved it! Everything was wonderful, though I did notice the bowl they served was chipped. It didn’t bother me too much, but it’s something they should probably replace. Would I return? Absolutely!
