This famous Malay stall is always packed with people with non-stop long queues from the morning until after lunch. In the Lontong was rich in flavour and the rice cake is firm and fresh. The fried anchovies or ikan bilis added extra crunchiness and taste to the Lontong, first time for me to have this luxurious addition to my lontong. The chopped green chilies blends in well and also help to add a taste of freshness, I only wished that the chilies are hotter. Too little gravy and vegetables. Will still go back to try other dishes they have. Next time I will request no ikan bilis on my lontong.

Updates: tried the mee rebus too, not bad, but not as stunning as lontong. Note: please come before 11.20 or there's a long queue. Boss highly recommended, said wasn't Singaporean of me to not have tried lontong before lol. The gravy was indeed a highlight, I loved the ikan bilis too, quite generous The rice cake thingy I thought was meh, I would've enjoyed the dish more if they replaced the rice cake with noodles or something oops. Quite a lot of veggie too. At $4 a bowl, quite reasonably priced.

long queue spotted at this stall, i think they are famous for their lontong but i ordered their nasi lemak. it was really decent, love that their ikan bilis are sooooo crunchy. they seem to be really proud of their ikan bilis cos i added extra 2 wings and they gave me ikan bilis in the wings packet too. but it’s good! the wings were sadly abit too overcooked? the meat was alil too tough for my liking. but i love how the $4 nasi lemak can be so generous that it comes with a fish fillet, chicken nugget, chicken wings, egg and so much ikan bilis. chilli was v nice too, it was more on the sweet side. rice was not bad. def will give them another chance and order again!

Highly recommend their lontong. The gravy is very tasty. The ikan bilis sprinkled onto the lontong is perfect to bring out the flavor. The mee soto is also very tasty. I love the soup which is very flavorful!

There’s so much publicity on this stall and the long queue is a testament of its food. First time eating the lontong and wow, it’s so delicious. I requested for the fried tofu instead of the ketupat, it’s a wholesome bowl of savoury goodness, from the light and milky coconut gravy, whole hard boil egg, assorted vege and generous portion of crispy ikan bilis. Must request for additional chili paste for the enhance taste. Will definitely come back to eat its other food.
