Their rice was fluffy and there was a strong coconut+pandan aroma, which I liked it very much. The chilli sauce is sweet and not spicy. I’ve also added on fishcake and begedil but the portion was so small. Chicken wing was tasty and flavourful but the winner here for me was still the rice. 😬

Went there around 9am on a Sunday morning and there was a long queue. Most of the people buy in bulk of 5 to 10 packets! The worker is very fast but because of the high volume, you still need to be prepared to wait for 20 minutes or so. We ordered the nasi lemak and also the curry puff (3 pieces for 2 dollars). Not bad - crispy skin and tasty generous fillings. Took a photo with a standard rubik cube for size comparison. The nasi lemak rice is fluffy and fragrant. The fried ikan bilis and peanut is very fresh and crunchy. I like the chicken wing too - crispy on the outside and the batter is very thin so you are still eating the chicken wing and not the batter :p. The sambal is the sweet type but lacking in omph. That is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

One of my favourite nasi lemak to date and better nasi lemak I had tasted. Taste was good and relatively consistent. The green lemak rice was packed with the coconut taste and the colour and texture made it visually appealing. The rice was paired beautifully with the sweet and slightly spicy sambal. The Ikan bilis we’re crunchy and went well with the fish fillet and chicken wing. The chicken wing had improved in taste and texture since the last time I ate, as it was less “floury” and had more crunch. The egg omelet was not too bad. Price point it was reasonable considering the food was good. Expect some queue and waiting time before you can get your food.

The best food court nasi lemak in town, no other place can beat Nasi Lemak Pak Mandor. Pandan rice and sambal are the best ~ I can't describe it well by words, kepak chicken wing had a perfect nice crisp, similarly with the ikan ekor kuning which is very tasty, perkedel or begedil is always tasty as ever. I would strongly recommend to dine in or if take out, to eat it right away while its warm. Been their loyal customers since ages and their nasi lemak never disappoint me, always able to maintain the taste.

Grew up eating this and the standard is still the same as ever. The rice is always soft and fluffy. Chilli is on the sweeter side and must must must ask for more chilli to fully enjoy the whole meal. Fish is easy to eat and not dry! Chicken is okay, great when its piping hot but when cold it becomes tough so do eat it immediately. Always add Begedil! Love this, veryyyy yummy. Have it there or dabao come also equally good.
