Alright, folks, listen up! While Monster Western Store offers a tempting selection of Western fare, their beef steak falls short compared to the popular Pepper Lunch. As a huge beef lover myself, this steak really left me speechless—and not in a good way! Now I really regret not ordering Pepper Lunch instead. What We Loved: • Monster Western Store: The flavor of the Monster Western Sauce steak was good. The accompanying sides were decent. What We Didn't Love: • Monster Western Store: The texture of the steak was its downfall. The meat was tough and difficult to chew, making it a struggle to enjoy. It was the first time I'd ever eaten a steak that caused my teeth and gums to ache because it was so tough and stuck between my teeth. I couldn't believe how tough it was, especially considering I'm a big fan of beef. • Monster Western Store: The overall experience felt underwhelming. My Take: The steak at Monster Western Store was so tough. It wasn't enjoyable at all. I'm a big beef lover, and I was really disappointed. Now I really regret not ordering Pepper Lunch instead. It was the first time I'd ever had a steak that caused my teeth and gums to ache because it was so tough and stuck between my teeth. Rating: Monster Western Store: • Food: 2.5/5 (Decent flavor, but tough texture) • Service: 3.5/5 (Friendly and efficient service) • Atmosphere: 4/5 (Clean and comfortable) Overall: 3/5 Overall: For a truly satisfying steak experience, Pepper Lunch is the clear winner. While Monster Western Store offers a decent flavor, the tough texture of their steak makes it a less appealing choice compared to Pepper Lunch's consistent quality. I'm a big beef lover, and I was really disappointed with the texture of the Monster Western Store steak. It's not a place I would recommend for a steak.

This is a new addition to the newly renovated Koufu food court in waterway point. Firstly, the menu is way too confusing. It’s showing a lot of choices and as a result too hard to read. Sometimes less is more. Maybe offer customers something easier to read and order instead of putting up a map to order. Chicken cutlet is not great. Too thinly sliced. I also don’t like the idea that I cannot choose the sides too. I would probably order because the other shop in One Punggol is more lame

Why is the chicken chop still being served with this level of thickness? If the cost of maintaining quality is high, please consider increasing the price. As consumers, we understand that costs have risen, but we find it difficult to accept a compromise in food quality for the sake of price. Personally, I would prefer paying a bit more for a satisfying and fulfilling meal—don’t you agree? While the taste is good, the portion size leaves much to be desired.

Koufu finally got revamped. My fault that I had wrong expectations when I ordered a Hainanese Chicken Cutlet. I was expecting Garlicky Spicy chill but it turned out to be Tomato sauce with some bits of corn and peas. I initially thought someone spilled Heinz on my cutlet. The Cutlet seemed to be flatten breast meat, the one you find at Shilin Night Market, but smaller. I'm a breast person, it wasn't too dry because of the TOMATO sauce. I feel that HANS original version of Hainanese Pork Cutlet is a better choice. They never asked me for my choice of sides so I assumed they are fixed. For a premium price, I thought I could at least choose my sides :(

Chicken tenders: crispy, not dry on the inside. Not too bad. Rosti with Sausage: one of the worst rosti I have ever tasted. The insides were completely mushy. As in the photo, I couldn’t finish it because it was so bad.
