Prata Mohamed Javed Indian Muslim Food 📍 473 Fernvale St, Singapore 790473 🍜 Food wise: Great prata! Slightly Crispy, nice, and hot, it was fluffy and not oily! They gave two types of curry, mutton, and fish, the fish curry was slightly more light but was more fragrant, while the mutton was thicker, and got the best of both worlds! Will be back for more! ✨ Ambience wise: Coffeeshop! 🤵🏻 Service wise: Great! 💵 Price wise: Kosong: $1.20 Egg: $1.80

One of the best and value-for-money pratas I ever had. A bit of crispiness and more of cushyness. Freshly made on the spot so do expect queues at times but presence of the buzzer system helps a lot. When the queue is long, the cashier is helpful to inform me that there is an expected wait time of 30mins so thumbs-up to that too. (And he keeps to his timing well). Can pay by FavePay so can get some rebates and then minimise dealing with cash too. Finally, the choice of fish or mutton curry is nice and for the past 2 instances i ordered, there were bits of mutton meat in my curry. $4.30 for 1 egg prata, 1 banana prata and mutton curry. What a great start to a morning! Thank you Mohamed Javed! All the best to you! For those who would like to come by, prata timing is from 730am to 1pm and 430pm to 930pm. Sorry if photos were not as well taken 😬

Decided to come here as I heard about its very crispy prata. Had to wait 20mins for my food on a weekday 9.15am. Could see many other groups waiting as well Got a little greedy and ordered 2 kosong and 1 egg prata. The egg one was very normal and nothing really stands out. The kosong was a little crispier and fluffier, but not one that I would have expected with such a queue and where the prata would be served directly off the pan. My neighbourhood prata shop which has no accolades could serve it even crispier at times! So there wasn't really anything too compelling for me to recommend here. It was just above average for me, something which you can get at any decent prata stall serving their pratas hot off the pan.

Came here for lunch under the recommendation of a friend who raved about their indian rojak. It was indeed tasty and sauce was thick enough! I had the cheese and egg pratas and they were cooked fresh, tasty, and the accompanying fish curry was yummy. My friends who had the chicken briyani and maggi liked their dishes as well, but mentioned the maggi goreng was on the saltier side. Overall, competent indian muslim eatery at the SK area.

The bee hoon goreng and mee goreng are usually quite good but just lacks a bit of seasoning today. I do find the quality of the roti prata very consistent though. Crispy and not too oily at all. I always smother mine in the thick curry gravy.
