EDIT: it seems like the 아줌마 was just not aware that halal gojuchang was used because she isn't the one preparing the sauce. Inittial comment: I'm putting 4 stars because I really wanted to try the tteokbokkie but when I asked the 아줌마 if she used halal gochujang for it, she was confused at first. Then I told her that in the original one there is alcohol so that's why I was asking, but she laughed saying there isn't such a thing. So it seems like she isn't aware of this problem and uses normal gojuchang. That's why I wouldn't advise you to eat the tteokbokkie. But other than that, I tried the fish cakes, kimbaps and a corndog, and it was all delicious 🤤🤗

During my vacation, one of my friend introduce to me Manis Kitchen where the menu is Korean food and all is Halal. I love Ddokbokki but I could not fine Halal one until I met with Manis kitchen. I am strictly advise to visit Manis Kitchen. BTW, If you visit at the weekend, You can meet with the owner who is beautiful and sweet🥰🍲🥢

Small shop near mosque selling Korean Halal street snacks. Bought tteokbokki, odeng, sausage corndog and variety of fried twigim. Yummy!! I’m so lucky so stay ard this area for a week. Bought them almost on alternate days. But I hope can double the shop size and sell more korean street snacks like hotteok, egg bread or others. Thank you for the experience.
