Lovely bakery at Haji Lane with a wide array of bakes and pastries. Definitely recommend to pop by while you’re in the area. I bought the Dark Angel and Meatball Quiche to try! They open till late, too, but some of the pastries were already sold out. I’ll come in the morning next time!

Super nice Bakery near Sultan Mosque! Food is excellent and staff is lovely! Pesto and bacon scone is very nice. For the sweet touch, try their chocolate madeleines or chocolate caramel tart, you won't regret!

This is NOT a order, sit down and eat place, it is a take-away place ONLY. The pastry range is amazing as you can see in my photos. They have incredibly good reviews on their "layered" or "stuffed" pastries. Layered and stuffed with cream, nuts, fruits etc As opposed to just plain bread pastriesm like baguette and croissant. The place is small and cozy, again, there's no place to sit, you have to choose, pay and get out. It's located in a Muslim place, i.e. Turkish, Middle Eastern, Persian shops. The Konditori is run by a family of Malays, very dedicated in what they do. The price is very reasonable, and the choice is outstanding. I only bought the CROISSANT--plain. No layering, No stuffing. The outer layer is crisp, darker taste (slightly hint of burnt taste). The middle portion--i.e. the inside--is soft, quite moist. The overall flavour is rich and good surface crunch. IT is definitely much better than Delifrance, Paris Baguette and Pauls. However, if it's compared to Parisien standards, their croissant lacks the following: -Flakiness; it is not light and separately layered. The Konditori layers are compressed together. There is not enough "air" between the layers. -The inner moisture it not... moist enough so that it is stretchy and soft. Konditori is slightly less moist and stretchy. -The butteriness; the aroma of butter is definitely present in the Konditori, but the buttery aroma is not enough. Perhaps it's the type of butter they use. Having said the above, I still think it is a great place to get french pastry. The biggest set back is, you can't sit down, with a bright window and sip cuppuccino with your croissant. Unfairly, for me, that cost them 0.5 Star, and the Layers of the croissant cost them the other 0.5 Star.

A really pretty bakery. Love how the bakes are all stacked up. There is a limit imposed of allowing 5 customers to enter the bakery at any time. Once the limit is reached there will be a line forming outside the shop.
