Just trying the dishes from the restaurant first time. I did came earlier week but they were not serving cos the cashier were not working that time. Quite disappointing. The restaurant is open but could not serve food cos the cashier is late for work. They must do something about this. I ordered lotong is excellent. The gravy are just nice and there are plenty of vegetables and one tawhu and egg. For $4.50 is worthy. Then I tried the vegetables spring rolls for $1.50 for the medium size are reasonable quantity and tasty although it's frozen. They really fried the rolls perfectly. The staff are friendly and helpful, the service was excellent and prompt service. 👍

There are a few choices of goreng pisang . However left are those pisang tanduk which is all mix together with other types of goreng pisang as labelled. This creates a confusion . If there are no other types of goreng pisang , jus leave the container empty and just place the available goreng pisang in one container. Secondly , the #hastag provided by the shop is to get a refund if the food is not nice. This is very arrogant. I would just throw the food, give to stray cats or dont come back to the shop.

I don't understand the hype. It's very average or less. The goreng pisang 'crust' wasn't crispy, not the light and golden brown texture. It was hard and crunchy and also chewy. Maybe should consider some oil change because that Oil was so black you probably can't see the other side of it. The epok epok is madly overpriced for its quality. Felt like factory made epok epok. I think it was about $1+ each. The kicap chilli? Tasted more like just kicap. This isn't a one time review. I tried 2 times at different ocassions, peak and off peak. Same quality every time. Decided I won't be coming back. But maybe it's personal preference since everyone else seems to like it.

Located inside My Kampong makan place. V small & cosy wth limited seats. We ordered their many kinds of goreng pisang. Nice & juicy bananas. The batter stayed crispy for long time. Making each bite really syiok! But the "sireh kapor" aftertaste is too strong. Can be a turn off. Our family agreed tht their satay-in-a-cup to be the best on their menu. The satay is not overly sweet. Meat is relatively tender. The sauce doesn't hv too chunky peanuts. Making it easier for the elderly to chew on. The best part for me is the nasi hempit at the bottom of the cup. V soft & fragrant. Overall, best!

Stumble upon this small shop in Jurong West. I think today is it’s first day (6th Feb 2023) bought the tripe satay (in a cup) which costs me $5.90. At first I thought it’s a bit pricy for 5 sticks but when I open the top (of the cup) and saw the size of each cut of tripe, it’s actually value for money, it’s packed complete with the peanut sauce and cucumber at the bottom, the ketupat is soft and fragrant which I love. Although I think the sauce should be a little bit spicy (coz the sauce has no kick, just sweet) but it’s still nice. I’d definitely buy again
