Had a quick lunch as I was on transit, overall it’s well lit and clean space. Opted for set lunch and it was a well priced combo (food + drink). It wasn’t packed for lunch hour, but service was a little slow. Taste wise (I only tried 1 dish) was mediocre, tried to add in some taste using the sauces & chili powder but didn’t help much.

Visited in the middle of a Saturday afternoon and the outlet was quiet. Service by an older lady staff was brisk and friendly. The steaming Butter Miso Ramen I ordered was also very rich and savory! Great comfort food.

Have not been to T3 for awhile. Was there to settle some chores. Decided to have the noodles at the food court. Realised that they are gone. Only serving halal noodle, I guess. Move in next for my ramen, also changed! Saw the review, some positives and some negatives. Decided to give it a try. Staff quickly settled me to a seat. No smiling? Using scanning to select your choice. Most of the shop now opted for e-menu. Ordered the original, without set. Food served less than 10 minutes, wow! Saw the guy preparing the noodles. Quite standard, took out noodles from the fridge, put in the sieve, auto timing. Put in the broth. Soup is acceptable, not very rich. The ingredients are pathetic. Even the seaweed is shredded (different from the picture!), not in one piece? Noodles over cooked, mushy texture. Egg is definitely cannot make it, look at the color! I have to keep on adding the chillis and fried onions & shallots. $12.95 definitely not worth it.

Had this halal ramen located at T3 basement floor. The food came in quite fast to my surprise. I had the chicken tantan which was quite spicy and the broth was really shiok! They even gave gloves for me to eat the huge fried chicken which was very crispy and flavourful. I ordered the set which came w the gyoza and watermelon - I must say the watermelon size is smaller than I remembered. But that’s alright… Missing 1 star cos their service is rather slow when it comes to attending to customers who are queuing outside despite the not so full restaurant.

Firstly, I must say this is a fast-food restaurant rather than traditional ramen shop. Staff invited me into the shop without a smile. Let's admit it, Japan's customer service is tiptop in the world. As a japanese restaurant, I would expect a "Irasshaimase" being said. Food was mediocre. The spaghetti-like noodles was cooked al-dente. I did not remembered ramen being al-dente. I guessed the ramen was made too thick, if they did not cooked long enough, it became hard. If they cooked too long, it became soggy. The braised egg was not cut half. The best part of japanese braised egg is the orange, translucent half-cook eggyolk. If I was the chef, I would want to show off my braised egg to increase the appearance of my ramen. The miso in the soup is too over-powering and too thick. The ice green tea that came with the lunch set is tasteless. Generally, I think customer service should really improve since it's a critical difference between a non-japanese and japanese restaurant. I don't think I will visit the restaurant a second time. I would very much prefer Baikohken, but too bad they closed all the restaurants in Singapore.
