Absolutely fantastic taste and the inner filling is like a creamy paste. Price is not cheap but there is one for one discount today for original flavour. Definitely buy when discounted

$3.2 is costly for a tart, yes, but I'd pay it anyday for this cheese tart! The first bite was heaven!

Ordered egg tarts from Jurong Point today, and have a very bad experience. In total 8 egg tarts were ordered. Initially their counter staff wanted to pack 2 of my egg tarts in small / loose packaging and balanced 6pcs in 1 box. As this is not for my own consumption, I had explained to them and requested the 2pcs to be placed in a box as well. They refused, initial reason given was that 2 egg tarts would “shake” when placed in the box (meant only for 3 tarts?) Add box would cost me $0.40. In the end I bought total of 9 tarts, to ensure that I have proper packaging. Then to make matter worse, they wanted to place the 2nd box (containing 3 pcs now) in a clear disposable plastic bag. I can understand cost savings from the Company point of view. But it should not affect customer experience. Note that Hokkaido egg tarts are not cheap, to start with.

Bad purchasing experience even though tart was tasty. The female staff had a friend with her in the store who didn't look like her colleague. She was distracted when attending to me and looked uninterested even till the payment was done.

A new outlet opened at Causeway Point Mall and I mistook it for Bake cheese tart so I bought a box of 5 with 1 free. It was weird to have the buy 5 and get 1 free since I have never encountered it with Bake from Ion or Westgate. Without thinking much about it, I went home with my box of cheese tarts in joy! I was greeted with the filling of one tart spilled on the corner of the box. However, I thought it could be caused by my clumsiness. When I removed the tart from the egg tart paper, I noticed that the crust was in a much darker shade then the usual ones that I had from Bake and the filling was separated from the crust and its base was chipped! The custard was watery and lacked the fragrance of the cheese and the rich cheese taste that Bake cheese tarts offer. I was so disappointed as I still thought it was Bake cheese tart. Hence, I was ready to write a feedback to Bake. It was only then that I realised that this is Hokkaido cheese tart and not Bake cheese tart! I have to rate in order to post my review but in my opinion this Hokkaido cheese tart does not even deserve a 1-star rating. It tarnishes the standard that Japanese have when they use Hokkaido in their branding. Try to believe it! Never try, never know!
