The supposed durian fudge cake has no taste of durian nor smell of durian at all. It is not worth the money paid.

*WARNING, PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠️* Purchased their mini durian mooncakes from VivoCity a week ago as gifts for our in-laws, only to find out yesterday that the products has been recalled due to BACTERIA (that can cause food poisoning) found in exceeding safe levels by Singapore Food Agency. As we are concerned about the well-being of our in laws whom are elderlies, I reached out to their IG account and WhatsApp requesting for a refund and after also asked how to differentiate the MSW from the D24 since there’s no label on the boxes. We are returning customers over the years, and did not hesitate to repurchase this year. However, the way the company has handled this issue was extremely poor and insensitive, and has only been trying to avoid facing the consequences from their mishandling of food. There were no official postings done on their social media platforms except for IG story / FB story which expires after 24hrs, and it was clearly to deter people from leaving comments. I understand as a business they are containing the damage, but as this is a perishable item, with the old and the young possibly consuming it, they should refund customers whom are not comfortable to consume their products after the news and not set a very short time frame for refund. Seriously, who keeps the receipts for food items? If we have the items itself, isn’t it already an obvious proof along with a screenshot of the bank transaction? They also don’t bother with customer service at all, don’t even want to reply any of the messages and leave customers hanging. I will never repurchase again and as someone that never leaves bad reviews unless it’s absolutely disappointing, this experience has been distasteful to say the least.
