Flavours by Saute 寻味•素特 Funan Mall is home to one of the three outlets in Singapore for a vegetarian/vegan fusion concept created by the Saute Group. The establishment offers signature dishes such as pizza, burgers, quinoa kale salad bowls, and yee mee. The menu features a broad selection of Asian and Western cuisine. The signatures are: : dry ramen bowl fried Yuba : burger quinoa tofu with satay source : orh luak - vegetarian omelette : house-made otah : kale olive fried rice The "orh luak", which is their signature dish, was served crispy and not overly starchy. The chilli sauce elevated the overall taste of the dish. The fried rice had a lot of "wok hei" (meaning it was cooked at high heat), and it was a very comforting dish. The Nyonya otah was nice, but it was a bit salty when eaten on its own. However, I was impressed that it tasted quite close to the real thing. The quinoa tofu burger was an interesting and juicy option. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that the extra cheese added was just a square piece of processed cheese instead of real cheese. The dry ramen was full of flavour & we enjoyed it very much. It's great that the restaurant's app allows diners to customize their dishes with less oil or mushrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are always ready to recommend dishes and answer any questions you might have.

Pretty generous portion for their food! And taste prettily good. Tried their curry baked rice and will say the curry tastes awesome! I can’t take spicy so it’s a little too much for me. Orh Luak is super hard to find now and theirs tastes awesome!! Super love! They are kids friendly too, have 2 different kids meal in a car shape plate set.

Visited Funan outlet several times and came up with the following conclusions. 1. Service is normal only, do not expect too much especially during peak period. Waiting time can get up to 30mins or longer after ordering. AVOID peak period. 2. Staff generally have no smiles on their faces all the time. I believe they are rushing and too busy. 3. Food ordered may not be prepared by the kitchen table by table, hence do not wait for all the food to reach first before starting your meal. 4. Although there are special request options on some of their food items, if your special request is not listed as one of the options, please stand up and approach the staff and make sure you get your message across clearly. 5. Food portion is considered big and decent. Becareful not to over order. Lastly, I do recommend to try the orh luak if you are visiting.

Bwtter skip this place if you don't like mushrooms. They are in most of the dishes! You can order without mushrooms, but what you get then....idk. Hashbrowns were nice and the Ma La Xiang Guo was my surprise dish (i didn't know the dish and exact ingredients- my fault), so i got mushrooms over mushrooms and i really don't like mushrooms. Also pak choy and lots of coriander. Glad my bf ate the dish. He had Spicy Ramen which he liked (i think they were okay). Noodles were overcooked and broth a bit plain. Chili tofu was delicious. Overall it was okay (bf liked it, thats why 4 stars) but expensive. Don't like the QR-Code either.

Extensive selection of green goodness. The black kut teh was surprisingly tasty and satisfying. Exceeded my expectations. The cheesy lion mane was addicting with generous globs of oozing cheese sandwiched within a crunchy shell. Just wished there was a bit more mushroom. Carrot cake was a really huge serving. It was fine though felt like it missed a bit more meaty bite. Would be keen to try the other items on the menu.
