Update: my date was ruined and the girl told me she is traumatized by the bad experience and small, lousy food serving that she is worried I may not be able to provide for her in the future and have left me for better food :( thanks Edo I urge potential diners to avoid Edo at all costs. My recent experiences at this establishment have been consistently disappointing, leaving me with a strong impression that it's a place to steer clear of. The long queues outside the restaurant may seem like a sign of popularity, but don't be fooled. The reason for these queues is not because the restaurant is packed with satisfied customers, but rather because they are woefully understaffed and unable to handle the volume of orders. Despite the abundance of empty seats, I consistently had to wait over 20 minutes for my food to arrive. I initially hoped that my first visit was just a fluke, but my second experience was even worse. The wait times were even longer, the food portions were ridiculously small, and the prices were far from budget-friendly. I felt like I had ordered a kids' meal instead of a proper adult portion. The service charge, which is supposed to reflect the quality of service, is an utter joke. The staff was not only slow and inefficient, but also rude and dismissive. . To make matters worse, the restaurant's design is a blatant imitation of Saizeriya's, lacking any originality or charm. The cramped seating arrangement further detracts from the dining experience, making it uncomfortable to enjoy a meal. The only positive aspect of my experience was the free tap water. However, this is hardly enough to compensate for the numerous shortcomings of this establishment. I predict that Edo will soon join the ranks of other failed food eateries in PLQ if they don't make significant changes to their business model. They need to hire more staff, improve their service times, increase food portions, and lower their prices. Additionally, they should consider developing their own unique design that doesn't rely on imitation.

Honestly a relatively harrowing experience, this is a Japanese halal store so I decided to give it a try as the food honestly looks relatively good and the prices were attractive. However, taste wise it’s honestly disappointing. Not to mention the portions which are more on the small side hence the “attractive” prices. Ordered chicken katsu, teppan chicken and beef. Honestly the best was the katsu. Beef came done even when I ordered rare as I expected it to be overcooked. One upside to this place is that they have a self help water station for refills. Overall I would skip this place unless you’re really craving for Halal Japanese.

It was our first time having lunch here. We mainly ordered different variation of oyakodon. A large chicken oyakodon, a medium cheese oyakodon and a large teriyaki chicken don. We did not see much different in food portion between the medium and large size as they were served with the same size bowl. The portion was okay for me as I am a small eater but not for my growing child. You can self serve drinking water in the eatery so that was a plus for me. The eatery was not crowded when we visited so food was served within expected time frame. Overall, I thought the oyakodon tasted ok but not worth ordering the cheesy version as it cost $3 more than original version for the cheese sause. The portion is smaller then expected, and I did not see much difference between medium and large size. If you are a big eater,, you might want to consider ordering two medium size.

Tried once and won’t go back again. Appearance-wise, it looks like a Japanese version of Saizeriya but it differs quite a lot. Definitely higher in price point but not justifiable - portion size was quite small. There’s also free iced water but it’s self service

This is my 1st time coming to this store. I came after the lunch crowd ard 3pm. I ordered Chicken Katsudon and free flow drink. Waiting time is 10 mins, considering it’s a non full customer at the time. The food was hot, the taste is just nice, the egg was done good, the chicken is tender.
