2nd purchase at PLQ today. 1st time tried and find it nice so decided to go back to try other flavours. Bought matcha macchiato and chendol. While waiting for my drink, saw the staff offering a loyalty card to another customer who bought 3 desserts. So I approached the staff for one too. I asked if drink is included for a stamp, she did not reply me and faster chop and went back to doing her work. As if I was delaying her with her work. Halfway out the store drinking my drink and realised matcha macchiato would have soy pudding in it which mine doesn't have, so I went back to check with the staff. She could have just apologise and added in for me but instead she told me if I wanted it she will add in. Feeling meh about their service standard. Wouldn't return any sooner.

It’s a take away joint selling dessert. These donut balls made of yam and sweet potatoes have a nice soft and chewy texture to it. A tad pricey but worth a try.

Its basically an alternative to nine fresh/jiu xian but its a little more expensive (approx $1.20 more). Not a bad option if you stay in the area. Had D3/golden beauty and corn with spicy minced chicken. Golden beauty is a mix of beancurd and grass jelly with (lychee?) pearls that burst, osmanthus jelly and the chewy donut shaped things. Very similar in taste to jiu xian, but the toppings are better esp the osmanthus jelly which definitely costs more even if its factory made. Corn was bigger than your usual pasar malam kind and was juicy and sweet on its own. Spicy chicken was average didnt add much to the corn except made it savoury. Was thinking how it can be eaten as a salad alternative due to its size. Tho will get it with condense milk or butter next time. Overall will go back if im passing thru the area. But the price is a little steep.

First time buying their desserts, it was really disappointing! Pricey and not up to standard! The Aiyu dessert is not serve cold, I still need to add ice to make it cold and it is not tasty at all. Also quite shocked when I saw the young lady preparing the dessert, she is doing it slowly and worst doing it wrongly and redo again! I stood there waiting and thinking she isn’t aware of what she is doing? Unfortunately, I don’t think I will patronise this dessert shop again!
