Not sure if this outlet is newly open or what. Went there with my few Indian employees... Everything also like not available. No Poori , No Chapati, No mutton soup.. No murtabak... There are like 6 staffs in the kitchen cooking... But seems like.. keep getting orders wrong... The food... Is plain so so... My mee goreng is tasteless... And it is like... They use chicken with bones... Means it is like.. Those fried chicken they leave at The counter to sell.... When they cannot sell finish... They use it to cook the noodles.... So as the same for my employee.. mutton fried rice.. The mutton was the mutton at the counter... Never sell finish.. And used to fried rice... Close to 4 dishes we ordered... Are quite badly cooked... My next table customer was curse and swearing..... Finish his plate of noodles in like...2mins And left.... While the customer behind...Was typing to his friend.. How bad the food was... Left without finishing the food.... I think it was the boss that came up to us... And asked why we didn't finished the food... Saw that their other outlet.. got not bad reviews... But this outlet.. The food is just really not up to standard.

Biryani is phenomenal. The rice was flavorful and the chicken was tender. It's a relatively new outlet, do expect some teething issues and be understanding. I enjoyed their outlet at sembawang over the years too.

D Rubinah is a well known chain of restaurant. However, the ang mo Kio branch is quite poor interns or food variety and service. After month of renovation, the restaurant was finally opened. After 1-2 weeks of opening, I went to try their food and was quite disappointed with the system. Even though there were 4-5 people in the kitchen, I observed that many orders were delayed and given wrongly to other customers. Thankfully, mine was not. However, I observed that the supervisor (who was also the supervisor of the previous shop there) was very demanding with the workers though they were trying hard. His constant nagging didn't help. The food is over priced weighed with the quality given. For a mutton meal, the shop worker asked whether I wanted papadam and I said okay. In a typical Indian food store (even in restaurants), papadam is not charged but here I was $1, I only got to know it when I looked at the receipt on my way back. If it is charged, they should at least tell. The rice meal was bland. Since they are new, there might be teething issue but I hope they rectify and bounce back better, soon with a good supervisor/ leader to lead.

Had a bad experience of dishonest staffs. Ordered takeaway Tea Halia, i often buy from this same outlet since its opening. Seem likes the owners are from the previous outlet. Lady at payment keyed in $1.50, usual price i have been paying. When asked after receiving my Tea Halia, the male staff said it is $1.80. Lady staff at cash payment, herself was rather shocked that he asked me for $1.80. I confronted him and show him their menu which stated clearly it is $1.50. He still have the guts to tell me that he though was a large packet. The plastic bag for all hot drinks are of the same plastic bag size. How can there be regular or large, even their menu show ONLY one size for tea halia, dine in or takeaway. Please be careful if you still want to visit this outlet.
