Halal food near Asakusa station & iriya station. I surprised the chef is Japanese. The service was so nice & warm. Before the food coming, they give a delicious soup. I order curry and nasi goreng, both of them was great. Thank you for serving halal food for Moslem. It help us a lot.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a delicious dinner. We were served with japanese mushroom soup first. Then our meals came one by one…each with a good portion. Had layered cake too which fit the Eid ul Fitr/Syawal month. The waiter was courteous. I could say that the chef was skilful and had lots of experience cooking varieties of meals from a few ASEAN countries. Well done! Will visit again when in Asakusa.

A halal-certified restaurant specialty in South-east Asian (SEA) dishes. For moslem from SEA countries, you must try to visit once especially if you’re Tokyo resident. The orice was also very reasonable, even after price-hiking last month, but still affordable compared with other restaurants The food was super fresh and very flavorful (SEA dishes characteristic). I’ve tried: green curry, laksa noodle, pho noddle, chiken&egg rice. The chicken slice was big, very generous!! Really reminiscing me about my home country. The menu set was included with: broth soup (very tastyy), water, pickles, self-serve tea or coffe (Indonesian sariwangi and ready-to-drink coffee) The owner man was very nice, always reminding us to get either tea or coffe, even gave us delicious Kue Lapis Legit (Indonesian layered-cake) for free!!! Will very recommend this restaurant to everyone who want to taste the SEA dishes in Tokyo. The access is easy since it’s rigth on big street. You may take bus no.26 from Ueno, or subway Hibiya line to Iriya station

This is a cozy, homestyle restaurant run by a dedicated and extremely friendly Japanese couple. The menu features many Southeast Asian classic dishes like laksa, massaman curry, chicken curry, and nasi goreng. My personal favorite is the massaman chicken curry. The food is alway fresh tasting. You can tell the food is homemade and fresh ingredients are used. It’s clear that the owners are passionate about the food. I highly recommend you check them out! Located right by Kappabashi kitchen town and is a short walk to Asakusa. The restaurant is small (seating about 10) but very charming, impeccably clean and welcoming. Note, they are cash only and ordering is done via vending machine (English menu is available).
