I bought 3 buns for $5.. looks good until the aunty who packed my buns was chatting with another aunty (I think manning another station), talked about how customers insisted on having hot fresh waffles and not warm ones.. not that you cannot chat but you chat without wearing mask and I was hoping that the saliva won't fall on my buns and plastic bag.. and you got pretty carried away with the discussion... Anyway I kept thinking about the possible additional ingredients and I decided to return the buns by putting back the bag on their counter with a note for return.. yes, keep my money and your buns with possible your saliva..

Anas bakery located inside the Rivervale Plaza is one of the best go to bakery in the location. The bakery offers a wide range of savories - buns, biscuits, kaya spread and much more. The most favorite of all is the Waffles there with different choices of spreads. All the items are with reasonable price and the service is good. The associates working are very kind and helpful. Since the bakery is within the plaza, need not worry on the parking space.

MINUS 3 STARS TERRIBLE SERVICE. Bought waffles once and was given the silent service, which I thanked her instead. Bought 2 walnut cakes yesterday, asked her to cut. She asked me to pay and wait long long. Then when she finally cut for me, she looked at me and said 'why you so like that.' I have no idea what is her problem. Left feeling🤐

There is one particular woman manning the waffle station. What a rude and racist individual, she was making snide remarks in Chinese. Looking at the reviews of this sad place there's other customers who feel the same way about this. I've never ever patronised this place again. You can get better bread and waffle at the other two bakery's in rivervale plaza.
