Saw from article that this is actually from Mr. Burger kiosk that claimed their burger is 90% same as msia Street burger. It's a burger kiosk. A street burger. Nothing to do with Ramly. Not sure what's the fascination with ramly wrappers and calling it ramly burger. It is just a burger. $3.50 for standard , egg coated patty. No cheese. Chicken or beef. $4.50 for special. Maybe with cheese. Burgers were made in advance, so it was pretty cold from the takeout. The sauce had curry power or turmeric added. It was odd. The only plus point is that it wasn't drenched with cheap watered down chilli sauce or mayo. It wasn't soggy. Bun was dry. Beef patty tasted odd. Thick enough but odd. Disappointing. As disappointing as buying those pasar malam "ramly" burgers. People would say, it's $3.50 so don't put up high expectations. I think it would taste way better if they get someone to cook to order like street burgers in malaysia. But I guess it wouldn't work since people are rushing to catch their bus and mrt. They need the volume to cover the costs. Wouldn't buy it again.

Used to love the basil chicken w/rice there when it was a Malay lady attending to the stall... It's super yummy and my kind of spicy... Went bk again this afternoon and the person attending to the stall has changed to a plump bespectacled Malaysian guy... Firstly, service was bad. Requested for no onions as I always does, and the guy told me cannot, quoting that if I insisted on no-onion then he can't sell to me... Wtf??? But as I was really craving for the yummy basil rice, I decided to put up w the rude attitude (plus the onions, alas) for once, thinking tt the food standard will be the same... But to my dismay, it's totally not the same anymore... The taste was really bland. Plus guess what, I can't find a single strand of basil leave in the basil chicken ... So it was basically a minced chicken stir fried with shredded long beans... Will definitely not visit again if the standard remains liddat...
