Often go to the stall when I crave Javanese-style fried chicken or Ayam Penyet. It's rather pricy ($7-7.5) but the portion size is decent. If you want to have the juicier part of the chicken, you can ask for the thigh instead of breast. Above-average and authentic sambal too. Note that the stall doesn't accept Paylah, the shop owner seems to be stuck in cash-only age.

Rice is so cold, hard and in one big lump. To avoid customer seeing it, the staff covered it with the small fried fish. For that price, I would highly recommend all to eat ayam penyet at gantral mall. The serving staff did not even bother to tell customers about free flow of soup. Only after careful scrutiny, realised there was soup covered with maroon red cloth on top of the soup box. Poor customer service! Will not patronise again!

Delicious food! the only issue is that they are not consistent in serving their food. Sometimes the chicken is very dry and sometimes the chicken are pretty juicy.
