It had been ages since I’d had an A&W, so I was excited to revisit those childhood memories. The familiar aroma of root beer and the sight of those iconic curly fries brought back a wave of nostalgia. I even got to enjoy a root beer float again, just like I used to. The restaurant itself has a modern and welcoming ambiance. Bright overhead lighting combined with warm-toned pendant lights creates a cheerful and airy atmosphere. The light teal and white striped walls and the wavy orange lines on the partition add a touch of playful energy. It’s a far cry from the old-school A&W I remember, but in a good way. It feels fresh and inviting, like a place where you could easily linger over a meal. The staff was also super friendly, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. They even offered me a choice to swap the thigh meat in my order for drumsticks or any other option I preferred. I also bought the hot dog bun, and while it was still good, it wasn’t quite as flavorful as what I remembered. The minced beef added used to give it a more intense, savory taste. It was still good, but it felt like a slightly watered-down version of the hot dog bun I used to love. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was good, the atmosphere was bright and modern, and the service was friendly. It’s great to see A&W keeping up with the times while still offering those classic favorites that bring back fond memories.

First time here, the only ordering machine was down. So I have to order from counter. The auntie don’t even give me a second to decide on what I want and keep rushing me which one which one ? Her mouth is faster than my pointing finger. Best she got my order wrong as she press too fast. And pull a long face when I correct her. Untrained staff that spoilt my day. Food is standard I rather visit the hawker upstairs.

Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich but looked more like breast meat that was just boiled down and smacked it in the burger what is this false advertisement…. First time trying A&W and this was the impression I get. Additionally, there were so many flies disturbing us. It even went on our food when we were holding it. We had to cover and protect all our food to prevent the flies from walking all over it… such a difficult and uncomfortable experience here. We asked if it was possible to get our burger remade but they simply said it was “not our problem” The outlet had flies, my problem or your problem? This should be a food safety issue. Hello?

It was my first time at this outlet. It was quiet with few customers. The food was just as good as usual, and I especially enjoyed the crispy fried chicken and the regular cony dog.
